PyAction events are designed to foster collaboration, innovation, and creativity. By participating, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct to ensure a safe, respectful, and productive environment for everyone.

Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct applies to all participants, including organizers, judges, mentors, and hackers, both online and offline, during the event.

1. Expected Behaviour

  • Respectful Communication: Treat everyone with respect and courtesy. Avoid offensive or inflammatory language.

  • Inclusive Environment: Be welcoming to participants of all skill levels, backgrounds, and identities. Discrimination, harassment, or exclusionary behavior will not be tolerated.

  • Collaboration and Honesty: Share ideas, help others when appropriate, and give credit where it’s due. Do not plagiarize or present others’ work as your own.

  • Focus on Innovation: Stay committed to the event goals.

2. Unacceptable Behavior

  • Harassment: This includes, but is not limited to, offensive verbal comments, unwelcome sexual attention, deliberate intimidation, or stalking.

  • Disruptive Behavior: Intentional disruption of talks, discussions, or project work.

  • Dishonesty: Submitting work that is not your own or violating the intellectual property of others.

3. Reporting Issues

If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it immediately to me on X or via Email. All reports will be handled with confidentiality.

4. Consequences of Misconduct

Participants found violating the Code of Conduct may face actions including, but not limited to:

  • Removal from the event.

  • Disqualification from the competition.

  • Reporting of inappropriate behavior to relevant authorities (if applicable).

By participating in the events, you agree to adhere to this Code of Conduct and contribute to an inclusive, respectful, and innovative community.
